Chtak Valery

1981 in Moscow. Well known for his graphics, installations and graffiti.
He is an apprentice of Anatoliy Osmolovsliy, a classic of Russian conceptual art, and a member of a now non-existing radical art-group, “Radek”.
Personal exhibitions of the artists were held in Paris, London, Moscow. Valeriy Chtak participated in three Moscow modern art biennales.
Today, the works of this artist can be found in the collection of a world-known collector of modern art, Bernard Arnault, the owner of Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton S.A. company, and the token Russian collectors Vladimir Smirnov and the Babakovs family. The best art spaces of Europe and America are waiting for his exhibitions and the leading curators are happy to offer him cooperation. This is because Chtak’s world is an original, a kind of like nothing on earth picturesque poetry of our day, aggressive and lyrical at the same time.
